Massy Wood Guyana is currently seeking expressions of interest for upcoming projects based at our Guyana Office.
This is an expression of interest only, the project is expected to commence in 2024.
Applicants must have full work rights in Guyana to be eligible for this role.
- Create vacancies, and run advertisements both internally and externally via newspaper ads, online recruitment websites and any other platform as necessary
- Liaise with employment agencies, when necessary, in sourcing suitable candidates
- Conduct candidate search on internal and external recruiting databases
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communications on behalf of team members and candidates
- Administer psychometric assessments and conduct the relevant reference/background checks for identified candidates
- Ensure all employment prerequisites are completed before start of employment, including drug testing, UKOOA medical, HSSE training, such as PLEA, BOSIET etc. and relevant site requirements
- Coordinate the onboarding process, including ensuring all new hire requests are completed, arranging the necessary approvals, assisting new employee in completing induction documentation and sending out the organizational welcome notice
- Responsible for ensuring the regular update of orientation presentation content and supporting the recruiters in orientation delivery
- Create/activate profile for new hires in company’s HRIS, Mpower as well as create new employee files
- Close-out recruitment process by disengaging all unsuccessful candidates through the issuing of relevant correspondence e.g. Not Selected Letters
- Maintaining an active database of candidates through passive recruitment for all required disciplines
- Create and/or regularly update statistical recruitment reports, meeting logs and other relevant databases
- Assist with the review and updating of all job descriptions in order to ensure that there is a valid JD for each position within the company
- Update project and department organisational charts as necessary
- Provide P&O support to the Business Development team in relation to bids and tenders
- Converting resumes to the Wood format for submission to clients
- Assist with departmental projects as required. For e.g. HRIS audits etc.
- Provide general internal P&O support to all internal stakeholders
- Perform all other job-related functions as required
