Massy Wood is recruiting for an SCM Manager with significant experience in an EPC services environment within the oil and gas industry.
The SCM Manager is responsible for design and executing strategies and plans to meet short-term and long-term supply chain management and control requirements, as well as managing all aspects of subcontracting and purchasing.
- Implement a fully functional supply chain management team specifically for procurement and subcontracting to serve the developing needs of the Client
- Liaise with Massy Wood’s corporate team to ensure that all processes are interchangeable and consistent between the Company and the project
- Develop and maintain a management system and processes appropriate for the work in compliance with the contract management system structure
- Develop and coordinate policies and procedures for subcontracts and procurement, throughout the contract scope
- Maintenance and accuracy of data in MRP/ERP system (input and issuance from PO modules.)
- Develop and maintain absolute transparency in all department processes and compliance with Corporate Ethics Policies and Corporate governance
- Negotiate with vendors for goods and services, negotiating the best possible price and service guarantee
- Negotiate blanket purchase orders when appropriate and monitor cost during the time period
- Prepare status reports and presentations for Management
- Provides coaching and mentoring as required
- Manage the deliverables of the SCM team
- Develop requirements and be involved in the automation/test of procurement and logistics software
- Develop new supply sources where current vendors or the supply base in country are inadequate
- Develop and implement performance management systems to adequately and fairly assess the subcontractors and suppliers
- Examine bids, prepare and approve recommendations and make awards
- Support the Company’s Continuous Improvement Process
- Work with Delivery Managers to define and implement development plans for Subcontractors.
- Adhere to all HSSE policies/procedures and participate in Leading Indicators that will result in a Zero Accidents culture.
- Perform all other related job functions as required.
