Overview / Responsibilites

Massy Wood is recruting for an Inventory Coordinator - Wells.

 

  • The Inventory Co-Ordinator is responsible for managing stock levels and replenishments in order to provide a service that minimizes the dollar value of stored inventory and provide on time all materials required to keep the facilities running.
  • Plan, coordinate and organize the tasks necessary to fulfill the inventory management requirements specified by the Client.
  • Conduct cycle counting at third party vendor locations
  • Co-Ordinate the movement of inventory between vendor managed inventory locations and the main warehouse
  • Work with the wider inventory management team to achieve in year KPI’s for inventory management
  • Responsible for managing the entire stock inventory information in SAP to ensure the integrity of the data.
  • Review the Minimum and Maximum levels, point of reorder, economic quantity of purchase, etc.; assigned to each stock item to  fulfill the estimated demand of spares and materials without affecting the operation and striving to minimize the overall stock holding in order to optimize the cost of stored material and warehousing cost.
  • Manage the stock replenishment requests in a timely manner.
  • Conduct cycle counting, mid and annual stock counts as agreed with the Client
  • Assist as required with the preservation strategy for those items stored in stock
  • Store materials implementing an ABC layout  ensuring that high rotation items are closer to the dispatching area
  • Promote, follow, update and develop procedures to maintain the highest safety, efficiency and effectiveness in our warehouse operations.

  •  Assure all operations are executed in a safe manner.
  • Establish win-win relationships with our internal customers
  • Proactively identify and correct any unsafe acts.
  • Participate of daily toolbox meetings in order to provide guidance to team on priority tasks to be executed.
  • Participate in all HSE initiatives and trainings.
  • Promote general order and cleanness of warehouse and optimize the use of available resources.
  • Develop weekly and monthly reports on task execution and performance.
  • Adhere to all HSSE policies/procedures and participate in Leading Indicators that will result in a Zero Accidents culture. 
  • Perform all other related job functions as required.

 

Qualifications

  • BSc Degree in Engineering, Business Administration and Management or with an emphasis on Supply Chain and Operations Management OR Mechanical, Electrical, instrumentation or Industrial Technician

 

Competencies & Experiences:

  • Minimum of three (5) years’ experience in warehouse management preferably in the oil and gas or energy industries.
  • Must be able to read and understand written procedures, shipping documents, safety manuals, and safety warning signs.
  • Advanced knowledge in Hazardous Material Management and spill containment mitigation tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge in Warehousing Management.
  • Experience in performing physical inventory counts.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the Inventory Management Module in SAP
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • Willing to work outside of normal hours as the job requires.
  • Valid Certificate of Good Character (must not be older than 6 months).
  • Preference will be given to national citizens or permanent residents of Trinidad & Tobago.
