Massy Wood is recruiting a Employment Relations Coordinator with significant indutrial relations experience.
The Employment Relations Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining a positive relationship between employees and management, by providing guidance and support to prevent and/or resolve problems and disputes by creating and enforcing policies in the workplace.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures and processes.
- Develop and implement strategies that promote and maintain a healthy and stable work environment.
- Build the awareness of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, including performance management, capability, discipline and grievance.
- Provides guidance on the best practices regarding any issues relating to conditions of employment, salary, benefits and employee relations.
- Conduct workplace investigations in accordance with good industrial relations practice.
- Conduct and handle dispute resolution and mediation.
- Advise management of employee relations strategies.
- Investigate and resolve employee grievances.
- Oversee restructuring/redundancy projects.
- Undertakes offshore and site visits as required.
- Undertakes on-call and emergency response duties as and when required.
- Liaises with Industrial Relations consultant on industrial relations matters and participates in the Trade Dispute Resolution process.
- Research and keep abreast of key industrial relations best practices and learnings from labour relations cases and ensure the HR Team has a heighten awareness of key trends and best practices in labour relations practice.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, legal, regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Ensures all company policies and procedures are reviewed annually and updated as required.
- Supports and assist all HR projects as required.
- Performs all other related job functions as required or assigned by your leadership.
